Deadline have scored a scoop that says that Matthew Fox and Ed Burns are joining the cast of I, ALEX CROSS, which has Tyler Perry placed in the title role. The film is based on the James Patterson novel, the role of Cross having previously been played in the films KISS THE GIRLS and ALONG CAME A SPIDER by Morgan Freeman.

Fox will play the villain Michael Sullivan in the movie, which is directed by Rob Cohen, while Burns is set to play Tommy Kane, Cross’s partner.
