For me, the best pissed Santa of all time is Dan Ackroyd in TRADING PLACES. In second place would be Billy Bob Thornton in BAD SANTA, a film in which The Wrap reports may be getting a sequel. The site reports that Billy Bob is in negotiations to reprise his role as Willie in BAD SANTA 2.
“We feel that it’s a Christmas perennial for the R-rated crowd,”, a Weinstein Company spokesperson told the site. “Everyone loves the character and Billy Bob’s excited to be in talks with us.”
The original was released all of the way back in 2003, and was directed by Terry Zwigoff. It brought in about three times how much it cost to make and has a huge following on DVD to this day.
