We reported news from the trades over the weekend that reported that Joseph Gordon Levitt had joined the cast of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, which is true and indeed 100% confirmed. We then reported that the role that he may be playing was that of Alberto Falcone (the Holiday Killer), the son of former mob kingpin Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson). Well, today EW are refuting the claim, and say that while he’s in the film, that isn’t the role that he’ll be playing.
I’m not too au fait with Batman villains or indeed the whole Batman comic book history, so I couldn’t even begin to speculate as to what role he’ll be up for playing in Christopher Nolan’s third movie in the trilogy. I’m guessing The Riddler… Chime in with your thoughts.
