One of the movies that I am most looking forward to seeing this year is Joe Cornish’s ATTACK THE BLOCK, a film that has generated some HUGE buzz from SXSW and beyond. Our friends over at /Film, one of the best movie blogs on the net (apart from ours) have managed to get hold of the first poster for the movie, which arrives in cinemas later in the year. I am insanely jealous of anyone that has seen this movie already.
Synopsis: Attack the Block’ is a fast, funny, frightening action adventure movie that pits a teen gang against an invasion of savage alien monsters. It turns a London housing estate into a sci-fi playground. A tower block into a fortress under siege. And teenage street kids into heroes. It’s inner city versus outer space.
