The new Daredevil movie will bare no relation to the previous movie – David Slade speaks

David Slade has spoken about his next directing gig, the reboot of Marvel’s DAREDEVIL franchise over at 20th Century Fox. Slade, who is the man responsible for 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, HARD CANDY and one of the TWILIGHT films, which I have not and indeed don’t indeed plan to see, spoke briefly about the film over at Twitter over the weekend.

Here’s what he had to say:

So without breaking confidentiality, yes Daredevil, we have a great outline for a very strong character driven take on Mr Matt Murdock.

It will bare no relation to the previous Daredevil movie in any way. We are at early planning stages and have not yet discussed any cast.

I can remember liking the last movie, and thought Affleck was pretty good. So, who should play the new Matt Murdock? One thing is for sure – Fox will want a star in the role, but who? Discuss…

Also, here’s another question. Why does David always stick two fingers up on most of the snaps of him on Google? Am I missing something?
