While we were all out at the Empire Awards last night some pretty major news broke that none other than Academy Award nominee Amy Adams has been cast in the role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s SUPERMAN movie.
The star of THE FIGHTER will appear opposite Henry Cavill, who will play Clark Kent/ Superman in the Warner Brothers movie, which is produced y Deborah Snyder, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Charles Roven.
“Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about. So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful.” Zack Snyder said following the announcement.
David S. Goyer wrote the screenplay for the film, based on a story by him and Nolan.
