Meg Ryan, the actress that has starred in such gems as PROOF OF LIFE and YOU’VE GOT MAIL is set to make her directorial debut with INTO THE BEAUTIFUL, which apprently is just like THE BIG CHILL. Ryan will not be starring in the film (we don’t think).
Wendy Finerman, producer of PS I LOVE YOU said this: “I’m often drawn to pictures that make you laugh and cry. I think this is the perfect project for Meg to bring to life. She’s poignant and funny and heartfelt.”
I can find absolutely nothing more about the film in the original Variety article, but I am really, really excited about this….
