Filming location details for Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES are starting to filter through information wise on the www. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette report that the superhero movie is set to start shooting in their city after the British director was impressed by their stunning and diversity of architecture.
“Pittsburgh is a beautiful city,” Nolan says, “We have been able to find everything we were looking for here and I am excited to spend the summer in Pittsburgh with our final installment of Batman.”
Meanwhile Bleeding Cool reports that the film will also be returning to a location used for BATMAN BEGINS. The site reports that the filmmakers will return to shoot at Senate House in Russell Square in London which was the location for a courtroom scene in Nolan’s first Batty outing.
