Michael Stuhlbarg, who is probably best known for his roles in A SIMPLE MAN, and the HBO TV series BOARDWALK EMPIRE, has joined the cast of the now-shooting MEN IN BLACK III. Stuhlbarg, according to Heat Vision, will play the role of ‘Griffin,’ which originally had Sharlto Copley cast in the role. That piece of casting never worked out.
Will Smith and Josh Brolin also star in the time-travel adventure, along with Alice Eve and Emma Thompson.
The 3D movie is scheduled for a May 25, 2012 release.
Stuhlbarg will next be seen in Martin Scoresese’s HUGO CABRET.
