With filming well underway in London for Ridley Scott’s new sci-fi extravaganza word is beginning to slip out about the flick.
Now the info ahead has been sourced from Alien Prequel News so the news is not 100% verified but a number of other film websites are running the story so why not us.
Scott has been decidedly evasive about the relation between PROMETHEUS and ALIENS, stating that it lives in the same world as the previous films but is not strictly ALIENS. But these new reports state otherwise:
Though security on the set is very tight with the good weather, dock doors have been open and cast and crew have been enjoying lunch outdoors.
I can confirm seeing 3 aliens having lunch. Not the whole costume but blueish costumes and the unmistakable heads hanging around their shoulders….The alien heads were the same shape but no markings, only a plane bronze colour. As for the suits black boots and shoulder pads the rest was a Chelsea blue body suit could be for SFX, all the sets around the back of the bond stage have huge green chromokey maybe that’s a clue.
I have witnessed foam cut outs of unmistakable aliens all cut in half lengh ways so they could be in the floor walls etc and very much from the original film.
There has been speculation that the aliens in the film are the ones that we know and love except with them being xenomorph’s they will look slightly different as they have never encountered humans before. Of course once someone has a face full of some hugger action then we’ll see the good old Aliens. Keep your eyes peeled for more news as it comes.
