Well, this is somewhat surprising news this morning, but an Indian newspaper is reporting that Christopher Nolan’s production of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is heading to the Indian city of Jodhpur to film key scenes.
I have actually been to Jodhpur, and the place is so picturesque with its blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. Jodphpur is the second biggest city in the Indian State of Rajasthan, and I loved by very brief time there. Really intrigued to see what Nolan is planning for the Sun City.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has given the nod to US-based Cape Road Productions to lense the next Batman flick, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in Jodhpur.
