A first look at Salma Hayek’s character in Puss In Boots, the Shrek spin-off starring Antonio Banderas

Here’s a very nice treat for you all in these very early hours of Friday morning, the very first look at Salma Hayek’s pussy in PUSS IN BOOTS (apologies – I couldn’t resist). This is the very first image of the character that Ms. Hayek voices in the Dreamworks movie courtesy of the folks at USA Today. The character’s name is Kitty Softpaws, and in the animated spin-off from SHREK, Hayek stars opposite Antonio  Banderas who voices the title character.

We’re expecting PUSS IN BOOTS to have a hefty presence at the festival, which kicks off next Wednesday in the south of France. According to news we heard today, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek  will “tower over” the Carlton Pier in Cannes for the first major event of the Cannes Film Festival. Whatever that means.
