One of the most celebrated contemporary filmmakers in the world, Pedro Almodovar is coming out with a horror film entitled, LA PIEL QUE HABITO or THE SKIN THAT I INHABIT or sometimes translated as THE SKIN I LIVE IN.
This is a departure for the Spanish director but one which is more than welcome. The film stars; Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya (POINT BLANK) and Marisa Paredes (LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL) to name a few. Here’s the synopsis:
Based on Thierry Jonquet’s novel “Mygale”, this revenge tale tells the story of a plastic surgeon on the hunt for the men who raped his daughter.
The film is out 26th August 2011.
