Age Of Heroes charity screenings to take place nationwide. Is it playing near you?

We’ve just received a press release from the guys over at Metrodome and Cineworld Cinemas to say that they are set to screen the upcoming WWII movie AGE OF HEROES across the country next Sunday. Tickets at the screenings will cost just £5, with proceeds going to the ForceSelect Foundation – a specialist fundraiser that supports small-scale Armed Forces charities that aid former UK Service members.

AGE OF HEROES is a spectacular British WWII thriller inspired by the real-life events of Ian Fleming’s 30 Commando Unit – an inspiration for the modern day SAS. In the film, Sean Bean and Danny Dyer, reunited for the first time since Nick Love’s ‘The Outlaw’, play members of 30 Commando, one of most important elite units in the history of the British Armed Forces, as they venture into occupied Norway to capture vital Nazi technology that could turn the tide of the war.

The special charity screenings will be held on 15th May 2011 at 3pm. All you have to do is come along on the day to one of these Cineworld sites:

  • Birmingham
  • Edinburgh
  • Milton Keynes
  • Yeovil
  • Crawley
  • Sheffield
  • Aberdeen Union
  • Wandsworth
  • Middlesbrough
  • Cheltenham
