The ever busy Rachel Weisz is reportedly in talks to join the cast of THE BOURNE LEGACY, the Tony Gilroy directed non-Matt Damon starring Bourne movie that will instead see Jeremy Renner take the lead role.
Weisz was recently confirmed to star in the OZ, THE GREAT AND POWERFUL for director Sam Raimi, but Deadline says she will also be looking to take the female lead in this film, based on the Eric Van Lustbader novel of the same name.
Regular Bourne screenwriter Gilroy will direct the new movie, which is set to go before the cameras this September for an August 3rd, 2012 release.
