With the current trend in 3D and digital animation, now seems as good a time as any to launch movie versions of popular games. And that’s exactly what will happen for popular games ASSASSIN’S CREED, SPLINTER CELL, and GHOST RECON.
The 3D features will be launched with Ubisoft Motion Pictures, the film production arm of the gaming company. According to Variety, there is also a a 78 episode series of RAVING RABBIDS in the works.
Despite the popularity of these games, and the stellar 3D work that has been witnessed in recent years, video games movies do not have a great track record. Can these upcoming films break the trend?
