50 Cent in action
Variety are reporting that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has joined the cast of Stephen Sommers’ adaptation of the Dean Koontz novel ODD THOMAS.
In the film, STAR TREK star Anton Yelchin plays a clairvoyant short-order cook who encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark forces.
The trade says that Fiddy will play Shamus Cocobolo, a blind deejay who helps the titular hero (Thomas) uncover a Satanic plot.
I’ve read this book, and even some of the sequels (ODD HOURS, BROTHER ODD), and it’s prettygood supernatural stuff, so I’m kind of intrigued as to what Sommers will do with the film version.
Addison Timlin, Willem Dafoe, Patton Oswalt, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Nico Tortorella also star in the film, which kicks off very soon in New Mexico.
