In this article it was revealed that SALT helmer Phillip Noyce is all set to direct the remake of the classic 1988 martial arts movie BLOODSPORT, but what we failed to pick up on was a quote from that movie’s producer Edward Pressman that says that the planned remake of THE CROW, with Bradley Cooper in the lead role, is all set to kick off shooting in January, 2012.
The remake, directed by 28 WEEKS LATER helmer Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, revolves around a rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancee from thugs. When he is brought back to life through a supernatural occurance, said rock star reaps his revenge as THE CROW.
In a freak case of coincidence, Cooper is set to start work on THE CROW just as soon as he finishes up work on PARADISE LOST for director Alex Proyas, the guy who directed the original ‘Crow’ film with Brandon Lee.

I cannot believe they would try to remake a classic like that especially with what happened to Brandon Lee. It seems like they are spitting in the eye of the original director and pissing on the memory of Brandon Lee. All I can say is it better be damn good or all the fans of the original are gonna be pissed.
