A sequel to the actually pretty decent SALT starring Angelina Jolie is moving forward, according to Deadline.
Kurt Wimmer has begun writing it for Angelina Jolie to reprise her role as Evelyn Salt, the CIA agent who spent the first movie running for her life after being outed as a Russian spy.
I actually quite liked the first movie, which could turn into a good little Bourbe-esque franchise for Jolie. The first film grabbed around $300 million at the box-office, and apparently Jolie wants in on a new film, so this should happen. Phillip Noyce directed teh first film, but no director has been hired as yet for the next film.
