Darren Aronofsky to direct $130 million ‘Noah’ film!

According to Deadline today, Darren Aronofsky, who pretty much had a choice of projects after his success with BLACK SWAN, will next direct NOAH, based on the biblical story of Noah and his ark. The budget is a massive $130 million, and I say that it is his next project, but it may not be as he seems to have a bunch of stuff up his sleeve, including the Warner Brothers housed HUMAN NATURE and MACHINE MAN, an adaptation of the Max Barry novel over at Mandalay Pictures.

Interested to not only see what Aronofsky can do with the classic story, but also with a massive $130 million budget, his most expensive project to date by a country mile.
