Well, here’s a surprise. Woody Allen is shooting a movie this summer, as he has done for the past twenty or more. ComingSoon.net are reporting that the new project will be entitled THE BOP DECAMERON (?) and will star ** deep breath ** Allen, Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Penélope Cruz, Judy Davis, Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwig and Ellen Page. Co-stars include Antonio Albanese, Fabio Armiliata, Alessandra Mastronardi, Ornella Muti, Flavio Parenti, Alison Pill, Riccardo Scamarcio and Alessandro Tiberi.
Shooting kicks off in Rome, Italy on July 11th.
Woody’s 2011 movie, MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is currently playing in US cinemas, but as far as I can see, the film has no UK release date as yet. We’ll keep you updated.
