In addition to yesterdays news that Ian McShane has joined the cast of SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, The Hollywood Reporter reports that three more dwarves have been cast in the Rupert Saunders led movie.
Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins and Toby Jones have joined the growing cast, playing Tiberius, Constantine and Claudius, respectively. McShane is playing Caesar in the film. Can you see what they are doing with the names there?
The dwarf names are veering mightily away from the well-known Disney version, with McShane as Caesar, Jones as a timid dwarf named Claudius and Izzard will be Tiberius, described as the biggest and burliest of the crew. Hoskins will play Constantine, a blind dwarf.
According to the trade, British actors Eddie Marsan and Steven Graham (who is the nicest man working in Hollywood at the moment), are also in talks to play dwarves in the film too.
Shooting on the film, which sees Kristen Stewart play Snow White, and Chris Hemsworth play the Huntsman, kicks off very soon.
