Another day, and another news item regarding a casting of a dwarf in SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, which is now pretty much almost 100% cast. That includes the seven dwarfs as news reaches us that Ray Winstone is in heavy talks to play the seventh elf.
According to sources Winstone will play Trajan, joining Ian McShane (Caesar), Eddie Izzard (Tiberius), Bob Hoskins (Constantine), Toby Jones (Claudius), Eddie Marsan (Hadrian) and Stephen Graham (Nero).
Kristen Stewart is playing Snow White, with Chris Hemsworth playing the Huntsman and Charize Theron the evil stepmother.
The film, directed by Rupert Sanders, is about a princess who escapes her evil stepmother with the help of a huntsman who was to have killed her but now trains the princess to survive and fight back.
Winstone will be playing the aforementioned role of Trajan, the twin brother of Eddie Marsan’s Hadrian…
Universal Pictures will release the film on June 1st, 2012.
