We are all massive fans of EXTRAS and THE OFFICE over here at The Hollywood News. Fordy is also a particular fan of the US version of THE OFFICE, perhaps a little too much. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are once again coming together to make a new ‘fake documentary’ entitled LIFE’S TOO SHORT, starring Warwick Davis, a teaser for which has just appeared online.
LIFE’S TOO SHORT is “a fake documentary telling the story of Warwick Davis and his talent agency, Dwarves for Hire. In the show Warwick uses the agency to steal all the best work for himself. Davis will play an alternate version of himself, who is “desperate, conniving, fame-hungry and self-centred, but always gets his comeuppance.”
The teaser features appearances from Barry from Eastenders (Shaun Williamson), Les Dennis and even British funnyman Keith Chegwin, who is destined for international stardom following his. Surely. The show airs on BBC Two in the UK later this year and on US TV in early 2012.
