Top composers collaborate for The Hunger Games

THE HUNGER GAMES, set for a 2012 release, has just scored both Danny Elfman and T Bone Burnett to compose its soundtrack. Burnett, best know for CRAZY HEART, is an Oscar winner and two-time nominee, whereas Elfman, best known for his work with Tim Burton, has been nominated four times. The collaroation promises to produce a memorable score as both are considered musical heavyweights in Tinstletown.
THE HUNGER GAMES will star Jennifer Lawrence (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) and Woody Harrelson (ZOMBIELAND), and focuses on a dystopian America, where Lawrence must compete in a televised game of survival. With echoes of THE RUNNING MAN and DEATH RACE 2000, the Gary Ross directed THE HUNGER GAMES will undoubtedly one of 2012’s most interesting science-fiction features.
