Tales From The Crypt will return to TV

According to Deadline, TALES FROM THE CRYPT is to make its return television. Based on the popular EC Comics’ run from the 1950s, TALES FROM THE CRYPT has appeared on television before, airing on HBO in both 1989 and 1996. The series was also twice adapted into feature films, DEMON KNIGHT (1995) and BORDELLO OF BLOOD (1996). The new TALES FROM THE CRYPT is being developed by Gil Adler (who produced the previous HBO version) and Andrew Cosby (co-creator of EUREKA), and will apparently focus on an on-going story thread featuring characters from the original comics (as oppossed to one-off stories as before). It has yet to find a network, and will begin as an hour special designed to pitch to potential carriers.
