Sony Pictures have just released these hi-resolution images, which previously appeared in Entertainment Weekly. The images come hot on the heels of the official trailer launch of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, and are sure to wet the appetite of any Spidey fan. The film is the first of a Spider-Man reboot, and goes back to basics after Sam Raimi’s sucessful (if inconsistent) previous trilogy. As seen here, Andrew Garfield (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) has taken over the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and Emma Stone (EASY A) plays love interest Gwen Stacey (replacing character Mary Jane from the previous films).
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is directed by Marc Webb and co-star Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Fields. It arrives in cinemas 3rd July 2012.
