Snow White... will kick your ass!
The last thing we need is yet another Snow White movie, with SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN from director Rupert Sanders and Tarsem Singh doing his version, but Disney are pushing ahead with another reworking of the classic tale…
So, the deal is that this one will be heavy in terms of martial arts and will be called THE ORDER OF THE SEVEN. We’ve found out that the film is ‘set in a British colony in China during the late 19th century and following a young woman believed by Shaolin monks to hold the key to the future within her deathblow-dealing hands.’ According to Heat Vision, “while the project is set in China, the warriors will be from locales near (the U.S.) and far (Russia), and each warrior will have a unique fighting style.” A bit like Street Fighter, Snow White stylie.
Michael Arndt is reworking the script, with commercials director Michael Gracey helming.
