Two tickets to The Gun Show with The Rock and Rihanna

Do you smell what The Rock is cookin’? Well, as he’s currently filming GI JOE: RETALIATION, it probably smells bad. But The Artist Formerly Known As The Rock and currently as Dwayne, sure LOOKS good. Thanks to JoBlo.com we’ve been treated to a shirtless and gun toting Johnson brandishing what is, if I’m right, an M249 SAW light machine gun. Fellow beefcake Channing Tatum returns while Stephen Sommers hands the reigns over to new director, John M. Chu, helmer of JUSTIN BIEBER; NEVER SAY NEVER. Yes, this is actually happening.

Not to be outdone, r’n’b Goddess Rihanna has got her guns out too. She was, alas, left out of the teaser for BATTLESHIP, which is fast becoming the stuff of legend. RiRi can be seen here brandishing what is, if I’m right, a big ass cannon. Directed by Peter Berg (HANCOCK), it is, as you probably know, the movie of the game, BATTLESHIP. Yes, indeed, this is actually happening.

GI JOE: RETALIATION is due out June 29, 2012, while BATTLESHIP is set for release on May 18, 2012.
