THE LINCOLN LAWYER star Matthew McConaughey will star opposite Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer in the upcoming Steven Soderbergh directed indie film MAGIC MIKE. The story revolves around Mike (Tatum), a stripper and dancer who takes Pettyfer’s character under his wing and mentors him on how to hustle both on and off the stage. McConaughey will play a former stripper, and owner of a strip club where Magic Mike works.
Reid Carolin wrote the script for the film, which is loosely based on Tatum’s own experiences as a teen stripper in Tampa, Florida.
