Rambo: Last Stand Script Has Been Submitted

You can’t keep an old warhorse down! Although it is still not clear exactly when, or indeed if, this final chapter will come to fruition, FEARnet (via Empire) has announced that Sean Hood (CONAN THE BARBARIAN, CUBE 2) has finished the screenplay. In an interview with Hood, he revealed that he has submitted the script to Millenium, and that he has developed it from a premise presented to him by Sylvester Stallone himself. Further details are scarce, but Hood hinted that it is more along the lines of the small-town thriller, FIRST BLOOD, with an air of Clint Eastwood’s UNFORGIVEN.

However, bloodthirsty fans may have to wait a while for a definitive answer, as Stallone has several projects in the works at the moment, including BULLET TO THE HEAD and THE EXPENDABLES 2.

Martin has been a film buff (or geek, if you prefer) for as long as he can remember. However, he lives and longs for storytelling of all kinds, and writes across numerous mediums to feed his insatiable appetite. He lives in north-west London, and his favourite films are, possibly: PAN'S LABYRINTH, THEY LIVE, PSYCHO, HIGH FIDELITY, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, STAND BY ME, SIDEWAYS and OFFICE SPACE.
