More and more exciting announcements have come out of Comic-Con, with the most recent been a 2014 release date for…. A Justice League movie! Which happens to be Lego. This was announced at a Lego panel over the weekend, and we’ve even got a cast list, which unsurprisingly has some big names.
THE LEGO MOVIE is going to have Channing Tatum as Superman, Will Arnett voicing Batman, Jonah Hill as Green Lantern and Cobie Smulders playing Wonder Woman.
Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who brought us CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS and 21 JUMP STREET, THE LEGO MOVIE is not one to miss, and regardless of what many will think, is not just for children. The film will be a mixture of stop-motion animation with real Lego pieces, and the story will be set in the expansive Lego universe, with never ending building blocks, inspired by fan-made movies.
