Wolverine 3 official title revealed? Fansite claims to have the exclusive.
A fansite has managed to get hold of the Wolverine 3 official title – one which has already been registered by Fox. More below.
Wolverine 3 official title revealed
Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart have been pictured over the past couple of days shooting the in-production third movie in the highly popular Wolverine movie series. While all of that has been going on, a website has potentially revealed the Wolverine 3 official title.
X-MenFilms.com is that website, who just tweeted the following.
So, Wolverine: Weapon X then? What do we think? Seems a little lame to us. Well, as the tweet says, Fox have apparently registered both titles, but this has not been official confirmed by the studio.
The film is, however, boasting quite a cast that includes Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant and Boyd Holbrook (from the Netflix TV series Narcos) as the lead villain. He’s awesome as the man to take on Pablo Escobar in the superb TV series, which you really should check out on the streaming service ASAP.
Simon Kinberg will be producing Wolverine 3 for 20th Century Fox, and recently, the huge website that is Collider managed to catch up with him to talks about the 2017-released movie.
“It takes place in the future, and as you and others have reported, it is an R-rated movie. It’s violent, it’s kind of like a Western in its tone. It’s just a very cool, different film,” Kinberg told the site.
The film is also to be Jackman’s last as Wolverine, a role which he has played for sixteen years (since the first X-Men from Bryan Singer back in 2000).
We’ll obviously bring you more news on the new Wolvie movie, which is directed by James Mangold, as we get it. The Wolverine 3, Wolverine: Weapon X, Weapon X, or whatever they plan to call it, opens next March.
