First we had the confirmation a few months ago of Spike Lee directing the Hollywood remake of Park Chan-wook’s, Korean masterpiece, OLDBOY. Now arrives another confirmation with Josh Brolin (NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN) as the film’s lead.
Deadline, who broke the story, have not much else to say about the cast or production but you can expect the two other principle castings to be announced in the coming weeks as the film seems to be fast tracked. Brolin was on the top of the director’s list from the get go which is a welcome casting to previous rumours of the Steven Spielberg/Will Smith team up.
