Well, here’s another trailer for the impending ‘beautiful movie about the end of the world’, MELANCHOLIA, from director Lars Von Trier.
The trailer doesn’t show a huge amount of extra footage, but any reason to promote this film is a good one. The film features Kirsten Dunst as a newly-wed who becomes obsessed with the the discovery of planet that threatens to destroy Earth. This is set on the backdrop of a dysfunctional family.
MELANCHOLIA is out 30th September 2011 and stars Kirsten Dunst (who won best actress for the film in Cannes), Charlotte Gainsbourgh, Kiefer Sutherland, John Hurt, Alexander Skarsgard, Stella Skarsgard, and Udo Kier.
