Currently shooting on location in Devon, UK, Tim Burton’s DARK SHADOWS looks all kinds of weird judging by these first snaps of Johnny Depp as vampire Barnabas Collins. The update of the Gothic television series of the seventies seems like a perfect fit to director Tim Burton’s visionary style. Along with Depp, Burton has gathered some well-known faces with Chloe Moretz (KICK ASS), Michelle Pfeiffer (BATMAN RETURNS) and Christopher Lee (THE WICKER MAN) as supporting players for the tale of vampire Barnabas Collins and his dealings with other supernatural beings.
DARK SHADOWS is due for release in the US on 11th May 2012 but no confirmed date for the UK.
