Chloe Moretz Keen For Kick-Ass 2

We’re still waiting for official confirmation of a follow-up to the 2010 superhero hit KICK-ASS, but Hit Girl herself (Chloe Moretz) seems confident KICK-ASS 2 will go eventually begin production.

When asked if KICK-ASS 2 would be able to film in time for her to continue portraying the child assassin, Moretz replied:

‘Yeah, but I think I’m going to be a little bit older. I’d like to do it in the next year or two because I think that’s a really good time age-wise. You can show Hit Girl in a different light which would be a lot of fun. I think it would be fun to show her, because you know her as this 11-year-old assassin, so I think it would be fun to show her as this twisted young adult, this 16-17-year-old Catwoman-y almost, twisted and dark person.’

Director Matthew Vaughn and co-writer Jane Goldman have recently denied a sequel is in production.

‘I don’t think it’s going to happen. At the moment, it’s not in the works. We’re all doing different things at the moment. We would love to do it again, but we’ve all been pulled in different directions.’ stated Goldman.

However, Mark Millar is currently writing a sequel to his graphic novel, titled Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall, and has previously expressed a keen interest in another feature-film adaptation.
