Robert Knepper Is A Dead Man: In upcoming feature R.I.P.D

Robert Knepper, baddie from PRISON BREAK and other films such as HIT MAN, TRANSPORTER 3 or even THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL is reportedly preparing for a role in Universal Pictures’ upcoming supernatural action film R.I.P.D (aka Rest In Peace Department.)

The film is based on the graphic novel DARK HORSE by Peter Lenkov and centers around a police department within the dead community. Knepper will be playing a ghost or ‘deado’ as they are referred to in the feature. He will be acting alongside Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges. The film will be directed by RED’s Robert Schwentke from a screenplay produced by Phil Hay, Matt Manfredi and Mike Richardson who is founder and president of the DARK HORSE comic.

Robert Knepper’s character Theador ‘T-Bag’ Bagwell in PRISON BREAK was certainly a ghoulish, soulless individual but will his role as a ‘deado’ live up to the likes of Jeff Bridges or Ryan Reynolds?

R.I.P.D is set to release on the 28th of June 2013.
