Australian actress Jacki Weaver is to star opposite Bradley Cooper (LIMITLESS) in director David (THE FIGHTER) O. Russell’s THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK. Weaver, who’s unnerving and chilling performance in the fantastic ANIMAL KINGDOM earned her an Acadamy Award nomination last year, will portray Cooper’s mother.
The romantic-comedy will also feature another of last years Oscar nominees in the shape of WINTERS BONE and X-MEN: FIRST CLASS actress Jennifer Lawrence. Robert De Niro will also star in the adaptation of the Matthew Quick best-selling novel.
