Founded in 2004, TruffleShuffle.com was the brainchild of Claire Lewis and Pat Wood, two self-confessed ‘proud children of the 80s’. After receiving a great deal of interest in retro T-shirts they had brought back from trips to the US, the pair decided to go into business for themselves. Seven years later, TruffleShuffle.com stocks over 1,500 retro and nostaligia-influenced shirts, and have sold over 1million items since their humble beginnings.
The popular eTailer now holds products from the likes of Chunk, Amplified, Junk Food, and Chaser LA – but they also have their own team working on exclusive designs for licenses such as TRANSFORMERS, TOP GUN, CARE BEARS and SEASAME STREET. One of their most appealing lines is undoubtedly the new range of men’s and women’s LABYRINTH T-shirts, featuring the Goblin King himself and a range of other memorable characters. The range of six designs has been launched to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film (as well as David Bowie’s tights), and has been produced in collaboration with The Jim Henson Company.
