THE HURT LOCKER and JARHEAD actor Brian Geraghty is in talks to feature in BACK TO THE FUTURE director Robert Zemeckis’ return to live-action filmmaking. Zemeckis has been busy with motion capture efforts recently with the likes of BEOWULF, THE POLAR EXPRESS and A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
FLIGHT will see Geraghty star alongside Denzel Washington (UNSTOPPABLE), with rumours also suggesting Don Cheadle (IRON MAN 2), Bruce Greenwood (STAR TREK) and british actress Kelly Reilly (SHERLOCK HOLMES) will also be joining the cast.
FLIGHT will be Zemeckis’ first live-action film since 2000’s Tom Hanks starrer CASTAWAY.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
