Russel Brand
is setting out to cease the sin of star Julianne Hough in Diablo Cody’s directorial debut.
Brand has been confirmed in a press release issued by Mandate Pictures to star alongside Julianne Hough in a currently untitled comedy. The previously titled LAMB OF GOD will follow the journey of a religious and conservative lady (Hough) as she loses faith and pursues a life of sin in Vegas. After her new realisation, ensued by a terrifying plane crash, Hough’s character ups-sticks to Las Vegas where she meets no other than Russell Brand who plays the unlikely companion as she finds her way back to faith.
Mason Novick will be producing the feature and apparently Mandate, after picking up the film in June started casting almost immediately. Both Brand and Hough wrapped ROCKING OF AGES recently and it looks as if they’ll be back together for this flick too!
