Jagger To Star As Immoral Media Mogul In Tabloid

Legendary frontman of The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger is to feature as a ‘dubious mogul’ in the movie TABLOID he is co-producing.

Jagger certainly had mixed has fortunes on the big-screen. He was praised for his role in Nic Roeg and Donald Cammell’s PERFORMANCE (1970) but ridiculed in 1992’s disastrous FREEJACK opposite Emilio Estevez and Rene Russo.

This latest attempt at a return to acting will see Jagger play ‘a global media mogul with dubious morality’, which could not be more apt with what has taken place recently. Jagger has appointed Oscar nominated Josh Olsen (A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, ONE SHOT) to write the screenplay that will follow a young journalist who gets his head turned by his chosen career. He then is subsequently seduced by the power of this immoral world he has entered into.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
