Pink Joins Thanks For Sharing

THANKS FOR SHARING, a dramedy about sex addiction from writer/director Stuart Blumberg (THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT, THE GIRL NEXT DOOR) has just announced a new cast member in the singer Alecia Moore otherwise known as Pink.

Pink joins Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Robbins Joely Richardson (THE TUDORS), Josh Gad (GIGIL ALMOST AMERICAN) and Patrick Fugit (ALMOST FAMOUS). The premise of the film revolves around a group of people who become friends through their determination to control their sexual addictions. It is said that Pink will play a character who will have some sort of relationship or connection with Josh Gad’s character. Here’s what Stuart Blumberg had to say about the role:

Alecia could not be a more ideal fit for this role… She carries with her just the right combination of heart and edginess for the part of Dede, and we’re incredibly excited to share her acting talent with audiences.”

THANKS FOR SHARING started filming right at the end of September and will be out sometime 2012.

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
