Chris Nolan, Michael Bay And Others In Talks For The Twilight Zone

Despite a number of TV resurgences of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, it’s been 28 years since the last feature-length film version. Back then, a number of directors were brought on board to each direct a segment of the film – Joe Dante, John Landis, Steven Speilberg, and George Miller all contibuted to TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE.

After all this time, Warner Bros are looking to revive the franchise, but this time using just one director across one singular narrative (though this will apparently touch on a number of key storylines from Rod Serling’s original show). At present, there are a number of directors apparently in negotiations with the studio, most notably Christopher Nolan, Maichael Bay, Alfonso Cuaron, David Yates, and Rupert Wyatt – all of which sound like exciting choices (apart from Bay, naturally).

The new movie is to be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, and written by Rand Ranch and Jason Rothenberg. Plot details are yet to be revealed.
