First Trailer For The Raven Lands

We finally have our hands on the first trailer for the eagerly anticipated THE RAVEN. It’s also rather fitting as 162 years ago on October 7th, Edgar Allen Poe died after a mysterious illness and from what we have here, his dark, shadowy world is set to continue onto the big screen.

Starring John Cusack (GRACE IS GONE) and Luke Evans (THE THREE MUSKETEERS), we are placed into a fictionalised world where Poe’s poems and writing began to reflect real life murders and events. The trailer echoes a blend of SHERLOCK HOLMES and SLEEPY HOLLOW and with V FOR VENDETTA director James McTeigue on board, we are sure of a murky world of secrets and shadows in the gritty city of Baltimore.

It also stars Alice Eve, Brendan Gleeson and Oliver-Jackson Cohen and is due for a 2012 UK release.
