Two new posters for Clint Eastwood’s J EDGAR have been released today by Warner Bros. They both go with the same image of Leonardo DiCaprio (INCEPTION) who is playing the controversial first director of the FBI.
The film is set to explore the public and private life of this enigmatic figure of American politics and of the 20th Century. J Edgar Hoover was a man who was equally feared and revered but lived a life of many secrets. Had these escaped at the time, it would have completely changed his life, career and image.
We wonder if the first image is hitting the US Audiences, whilst internationally, the rest of us will get the quick photo-shopped plain image with the signature echoing the bio-pic RAY in its style:
It also stars Naomi Watts (KING KONG), Judi Dench (CASINO ROYALE) and Armie Hammer (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) and is due a UK release on the 20th January 2012.
