Having a played a varied collection of characters throughout his career, mega-star Johnny Depp could be about add Theodor Geisel on to that list. Who? Some may be asking, well Geisel was more notable to the world as childrens author Dr. Seuss. Depp will producing the biopic of the author, whose most famous works are The Cat In The Hat, How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Green Eggs and Ham.
If Depp decides to take the role, it would not be the first time the actor has portrayed a childrens author. In FINDING NEVERLAND, Depp picked up an Oscar nomination as Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie in the Marc Forster (MONSTERS BALL) directed biopic.
