World’s Lamest Party: New Year’s Eve Poster

Blimey, look at this lot. There must be more knob per square inch here than any film poster since Hugh Grant and co loved actually.

The film features a series of intertwining stories in New York, with the ensemble cast discovering love, despair, hope, forgiveness, fresh starts and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…………..

NEW YEAR’S EVE is directed by Garry Marshall, and stars Robert de Niro, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, and Jon Bon Jovi. It arrives in cinemas 9th December 2011.

    Good God. Eighteen top-billed cast members does not equate to a good film. Sounds like a whole lot of over-simplified storylines thrown together to make an over-elaborate movie.

    Although for what it’s worth, the guy-gal ratio is exactly 50:50, which means everyone’s going to be happily paired off neatly and, well, boring-ly.

    These films are the dregs and depths of the wrong side of film making. Paraded as clever entwining stories in one specific moment when in fact they’re empty, hollow and draining everything that’s good about films and possibility.

    Just sayin’ 😉
