Nicolai Fuglsig Brings Brass Monkey To Paramount

Nicolai Fuglsig, the commercials director behind Sony Bravia’s iconic ad campaign involving 250,000 bouncy balls and José González’s cover of ‘Heartbeats’, is bringing his latest project to Paramount. BRASS MONKEY is a real-time action thriller that transpires during a killing spree in bustling Los Angeles. Always the ad-man, Fuglsig mocked up the poster featured on this page himself, which promises sniper rifles, hypodermic needles, helicopter-rappelling action, falling from skyscrapers and a hefty dosage of good old fashioned violence.

Paolo Marinou-Blanco and Brian Horiuchi are lending their respective writing talents to Fuglsig’s idea, to be produced by Stefan Sonnenfeld and Missy Papageorge, with SarahPerlman acting as co-producer for Sunny Field Entertainment. Fuglsig, naturally, will be directing his brain-child, with extensive advertisement campaign credits for clients ranging from Levi’s to Guinness.
